1. Introduction

Welcome to Summo ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these legal terms. They form a binding contract between you and Boutique Web Development ("we" or "us").

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. How Summo Works (Technical Agent)

Summo helps you organize your grocery life by collecting receipts from various sources.

IMPORTANT: Your Authorization
When you choose to import receipts from third-party portals (such as digital mailboxes, grocery store accounts, or loyalty programs) using your secure electronic identification (e.g., BankID) or other credentials, you explicitly appoint Summo as your Technical Agent.

  • What this means: You are directing our system to log in as you, on your behalf, to retrieve your receipt data.
  • Your responsibility: You represent that you have the right to access these accounts. We do NOT store your credentials; they are used only for the active session you initiate.

3. Acceptable Use (Receipts Only)

Summo is a tool for groceries and finances, not a photo album.

3.1 Authorized Content
You agree to upload only images of receipts, invoices, or grocery lists ("Authorized Content").

3.2 Prohibited Content
You must not upload:

  • Photos of people (including selfies or family photos).
  • Images containing sensitive personal data unrelated to shopping (e.g., medical records).
  • Illegal, offensive, or infringing material.

3.3 Our Rights
Because Summo is not designed for personal photos, we reserve the right to delete any content that is not a receipt without notice. Repeated violations may result in account termination.

4. Intellectual Property & Data Rights

4.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of the original receipt images you upload.

4.2 Our Data (Aggregated Insights)
As described in our Privacy Policy, we may process your data to create anonymous, statistical insights (e.g., "Market-wide price of butter").

  • Ownership: You agree that these anonymous insights are the exclusive property of Boutique Web Development. A "price trend" is not personal data, and we may use, sell, or publish these statistics freely.

4.3 The App
The design, code, and "Summo" brand are owned by us. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or try to clone our service.

5. AI & Accuracy Disclaimer

We use advanced AI (like Google Gemini) to read your receipts.

  • No Perfection: AI is smart but can make mistakes (e.g., reading a price wrong).
  • Check Your Data: Do not rely solely on Summo for critical tax reporting or financial decisions. Always verify the numbers. We are not responsible for errors in data extraction or "predictions" about what you need to buy.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Fees: Pricing is displayed in the App Store/Google Play.
  • Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt): By starting to use the service (e.g., scanning your first receipt), you consent to the immediate delivery of the digital service and acknowledge that you thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal regarding the subscription fee for the current period.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by Swedish law (Konsumentköplagen), we are not liable for:

  1. Any indirect damages or loss of data.
  2. Issues arising from third-party services (e.g., if a grocery portal is down).
  3. Any consequences of you uploading prohibited content.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swedish Law. Any disputes will be handled by the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt).
